In this video, Brett teaches us how to collect Instagram handles and enrich the data (followers, following, engagement score, number of posts, bio text, and more).

Data enrichment refers to the process of appending or otherwise enhancing collected data with relevant context obtained from additional sources. This additional information “enriches” the original log with this context.

This data enrichment process allows Shopify Stores and Shopify Brands to perform influencer analysis and automate emails from their email platform (e.g. Klaviyo, Omnisend, MailChimp, Drip, etc).

Depending on the number of followers an influencer might have (micro or macro influencer), would correlate to the type of email they would receive.

Someone with less than 5,000 Instagram followers might receive a discount code on their next purchase in-exchange for creating content and posting the content on social media about the brand.

Whereas an influencer with over 50,000 Instagram followers might get free product and compensated to create content and post on social media.

Additionally, you can sync this data over to your customer support platform like Gorgias so you know who you are talking to when customers reach out with questions.
